The
cottage sleeps two people in a spacious sunny bedroom with lovely
views to the East and West. It has en-suite facilities and is
reached via a spiral staircase from the living room.
You can look forward to a warm welcome and a
complimentary tea tray with home baked biscuits or cake will await
you after your journey here.
It offers comfortable accommodation in idyllic
surroundings with a wealth of local activities from fell walking
to local market towns and fine traditional fare. In the village
there is an excellent tea room and farm shop offering organic
produce.
Enjoying long distance views the cosy cottage
is situated next to the owners’ former farmhouse which is a listed
building. Having use of much of the garden & wildlife pond the
cottage offers a marvellous holiday base for a Lakeland holiday
with walking, sailing and fishing nearby.
We have WiFi available and offer short stays
off season which could suit businessmen visiting for meetings
etc..

The Kings Arms is our local pub offering a
friendly welcome with a cosy log fire during the winter months.
They have an extensive menu which includes plenty of homemade
favourites and some vegetarian options. Along with a great choice
of drinks including real ales, we have a large selection of malt
whiskies on offer.

The cottage
has full central heating and a log effect fire makes it
particularly cosy on cool evenings.

The
spacious double bedded room with cosy sitting area has a shower
room with wash hand basin, toilet & bidet.

a table on the patio provide a lovely place to sit and watch the
red squirrels and birds.

and central heating included in the rent.
Bed linen,
plenty of towels, tea towels and table linen are all provided.
Milk and newspapers can be delivered every day
except Sunday.
Drying
facilities are available.
The cottage has plenty of storage space.
