Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful cottage with us. The garden was a super bonus, one day we took blankets a pile of books and spent most of the day down the field. We’re so glad you tipped us off about the farm shop, its lovely especially the ploughman’s (the most scrumptious pickle known to man!!). Fabulous time, we’d love to come back

We have had the perfect week, just relaxing and recharging our batteries. The Cottage is beautiful, thank you for all the thoughtful touches. you provided everything we could need. We have enjoyed wathcing the pheasants every morning and the bats in the evening. Wish we could stay forever.

Lovely welcome and little extras. Gorgeous garden added to our enjoyment as we explored the North Eastern Fells. So peaceful here and so relaxing especially as we enjoyed the sunshine of the final two days. We hope to come back to such lovely friendly people and wonderful setting.

 Brilliant, such a long, long week full of beautiful scenery, sky, weather & places to visit. Walking to Dalemain, Dacre and back; boat trip on Ullswater from Pooley Bridge; preserved bus trip to Barnard Castle; day at Lanercost Priory; Housteads; Aira Force and Penrith. Morning spent squirrel and bird watching, evening just enjoying the peace and quiet
