The Cottage quotes 2009

We have had such a lovely time here. We have explored the Lakes, cycled and walked for miles. We also explored Carlisle. We would love to return as there is so much more that we would like to see.

A wonderful find and endorse all previous comments. Sadly no Red Squirrels but a Nuthatch and Wood pecker, also a close encounter with a Sparrow Hawk. The Lake district is beautiful but if you find Keswick manic try the town trails of Penrith and Cockermouth. Bus rides provide celebrated views to appreciate the scenery.

We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and tranquillity. God blessed us with wonderful weather all week. The Lake District is beautiful! We so enjoyed visiting the various towns and villages. We also really enjoyed the beautiful garden. Tina and John have been so welcoming and friendly and you made our stay so comfortable.
